Your Journey Through Six Levels

Our Italian Language Courses are based on the internationally recognized Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Each level is carefully crafted to develop your speaking, writing, reading, and listening skills progressively.

Level A1: Beginner (Duration: 2 months)

Overview: Dive into the basics of Italian.
Learn simple sentences, greetings, and everyday expressions to introduce yourself and ask basic questions.

• What You’ll Learn:Greetings: Ciao! Come ti chiami? (Hello! What’s your name?)
• Introducing yourself: Mi chiamo Marco. Sono di Roma. (My name is Marco. I’m from Rome.)
• Basic vocabulary: Numbers, colors, family members.
• Simple grammar: Present tense of regular verbs (parlare, mangiare).
• Skills Achieved: By the end of A1, you will understand and use basic phrases and introduce yourself in Italian.

Level A2: Elementary (Duration: 2 months)

• Overview: Build on your foundational knowledge to communicate in everyday situations.
• What You’ll Learn:Shopping and ordering food: Quanto costa questo? (How much does this cost?)
• Describing routines: Ogni mattina, mi sveglio alle sette. (Every morning, I wake up at seven.)
• Grammar: Irregular verbs (essere, avere), prepositions, and possessive adjectives.
• Skills Achieved: You’ll be able to handle short, simple conversations in predictable, everyday contexts.

Level B1: Intermediate (Duration: 2 months)

• Overview: Move towards more complex language structures and broaden your vocabulary.
• What You’ll Learn:Talking about past events: Ieri sono andato al cinema. (Yesterday, I went to the cinema.)
• Expressing opinions: Penso che sia una buona idea. (I think it’s a good idea.)
• Grammar: Reflexive verbs, past tenses (passato prossimo, imperfetto).
• Skills Achieved: At B1, you will be able to talk about past, present, and future events and manage longer conversations.

Level B2: Upper Intermediate (Duration: 1.5 months)

• Overview: Gain confidence in more complex discussions and understand advanced grammar.
• What You’ll Learn:Formal expressions for work: Invio in allegato il mio curriculum. (I am attaching my résumé.)
• Writing formal emails: La contatterò presto per ulteriori informazioni. (I will contact you soon for more information.)
• Grammar: Subjunctive mood (congiuntivo), advanced prepositions, and relative pronouns.
• Skills Achieved: You’ll be prepared to write professional emails, engage in academic discussions, and manage workplace conversations.

Level C1: Advanced (Duration: 1.5 months)

• Overview: Develop near-native fluency in Italian for professional and academic purposes.
• What You’ll Learn:Debating and presenting arguments: È importante considerare tutti gli aspetti. (It’s important to consider all aspects.)
• Reading and analyzing complex texts: Italian literature, news articles.
• Grammar: Advanced subjunctive use, idiomatic expressions.
• Skills Achieved: Communicate fluently and flexibly in social, academic, and professional settings.

Level C2: Mastery (Duration: 1.5 months)

• Overview: Achieve complete fluency, understanding Italian at an almost-native level.
• What You’ll Learn:Understanding nuanced meanings: Analyze films, poetry, and advanced texts.
• Perfecting accent and pronunciation: Mimic native speakers.
• Writing essays and reports: Use of stylistic devices.
• Skills Achieved: You’ll be indistinguishable from a native speaker, able to navigate any social or professional situation.

Program Duration and Structure

• Levels A1, A2, B1: 2 months each.
• Levels B2, C1, C2: 1.5 months each.
• Cumulative Duration: 11 months for all six levels.
